    No. You'll never know it's there. It's just a shortcut. Just like the Pixel Launcher. Doesn't affect RAM or battery at all.

    You just have to download the latest version of Nova launcher then you need to download and install the Nova Google Companion App.That's it!!
    Now you should have Google Now page on your Nova launcher.
