Nylon Bumper Case and magnetic car mount May 30, 2018

    If you insert the metal plate INSIDE the nylon bumper case, how well does it stick to a magnetic car mount with the weight/size of the OP6? I have a thick TPU case on my OPO (the old thicker 2mm vs 1.6mm, heavy duty Diztronic Ultra) with the plate on the inside of the case, and at times the phone falls off the mount over rough rode. (not a problem with a thinner case) Hoping for an OP6 and plan to use the nylon bumper, but am concerned how well that will work with a magnetic car mount.

    on my op5 i had the carbon bumper case with a metal plate inside it, sticked great!

    now I have the op6 with nylon bumper case, it's not that great. especially on the freeway it falls off a lot.

    seems like the nylon is thicker than the carbon and won't let the magnet stick as much

    Also the nylon is more slippery and slowly slides of the magnetic stand. I cannot use the nylon case with a magnetic holder.

    Do you know if is there enough space in the carbon bumber to insert the metal plate and continue having the case perfectly attached to the Oneplus 6? I'm worried about the case not staying correctly in place if I put the metal plate inside...

    my stick great guy.just make sure u have more surface magnet .I use the one call Nano mount and works great

    I use to have one of this case for my op5 and my Hauwei mate 10 and both work great .look almost the same like this one you show .but much stronger.look like to me this one not good budd.dont buy it
