    Hey everyone, as the title suggests, the obb (data) files of all of the games that I had installed got deleted mysteriously. I'm currently on 5.0.3 stock. Did anyone else face this issue too? If you did, is there any way I can prevent this from happening in the future? The games that I had installed (if this might help):-
    -> Dead Trigger 2
    -> Modern Strike
    -> World War 2 Heroes
    -> Monument Valley 2
    I did mention the names in case the info might help in any way.
    (Also the the folders containing the (.obb) files are still there but there are no files in them)
    [EDIT] The files got deleted after a reboot which I had to commit to bring the phone into its normal condition because the system had hanged. Also, before the hang, the camera (both front and back) were not working. After the reboot, the obb files were gone but the phone started working normally.

    It might be virus infected.. Did you download those games from any external source or from play store?

    if you use app cleaners, it might delete all the files which are bigger than a certain limit (like files more than 100MB) for recovering space.

    stop using apps like these

    I downloaded them from play store. None of the apps/games that are I have installed are from external sources.

    I have played all of the aforementioned games on my OP5T, No problems whatsoever. Either you've rooted your phone and have some rogue apps cleaning your data or the phone might be temporarily facing these problems due to improper update procedures.

    I'd recommend you to do a factory reset.

    Thanks for the reply and no, I've not rooted the phone. I've not even unlocked the bootloader as not much time has passed since I've bought this phone. The screenshots of the apps that I've shared are the only ones that I use. Sure, I'll perform a factory reset if nothing helps.

    @G_Viraj_Mathur_QDGZ thanks for the images. These apps are not harming your space...

    do you Free Up Space using the Default Cleaner present in the Settings under Storage & memory ??

    I had this issue for quite some time. But suddenly I realised the issue. hope this is your problem too.
    I am a very storage space concerned person. I don't want my phone to store unnecessary space. so I delete all the not necessary files from the file manager app. Along with it sometimes carelessly I used to delete the "Android" file as well, which contains all the necessary data to run any app.
    once you delete it intentionally or accidentally, your OBB files will get deleted too. So don't delete that folder and you'll never have to face this issue. hope this helps. be sure to reply if it works

    Had same issue today! I used to play Call of Duty[e]2122[/e]: mobile on my OP5T. Today I received android 10 update & upgraded my phone. After update when I tried opening the game, it turned out that obb files related to game are missing. I didn't reboot my phone. Please fix!

    Same happened to me too after update to Android 10 today, obb was gone and made it to get obb file for my game and now working more less, have multiple accounts in game so need to clear game data when re logging from one profile to another. Every time obb file is deleted when clearing data and that wasn t ever problem before with prev Android version. Any advice what to do so obb wouldn't be deleted every time when I clear game data in settings?

    Don't clear data while switching accounts, simply logout from game settings. I think it'll solve your problem.

    I have the same issue. Every time I reboot, all the obb files get deleted. I'm currently running OOS 10.0.1. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this issue??

    I have the same problem and it occurs when I reboot the phone. One workaround I found (since this can break many games and I would have to delete their data as well to get them to download the obb again) is copy the obb files in the main internal storage folder and just copy them back in the obb folder after every reboot. This is a oneplus rom problem I'm guessing and their customer technical support is a bunch of useless good for nothing bots. They are pathetic. I'm guessing switching to another rom would fix this even more so after they abandoned the 5t after loading it with a bunch of bugs they introduced with their 10.0.0 and 10.0.1 firmwares. This company is going down the toilet at high speed.
