@Mike, I am coming from latest official CyanogenMod 11S build. What logs do you need? It says "error executing updater binary in zip...".

You can swap the capacitive buttons in CM, it's just not an easy option to toggle. Google "how to swap menu and back " and you'll find out how to do it.

Then I just use gravitybox to make the buttons stay unlit so as to not confuse my brain if I were to look at them. (CM has this option but it currently resets if you reboot, gravitybox makes it stick!)

Then you have normal nexus navigation buttons!

I'm struggling to see why I would want this? CM11s is pretty much stock android with extras isn't it..?

(Extras that aren't bloatware or crap TouchWiz style launchers)

For me, I think CM11s is the way to go with it, very nice and refined user experience and it's not rooted by default which a massive + for me as I use online banking apps that don't like root...

Can someone explain why this would be a better way to go in comparison to the CM11s experience?

Nice. I really wanted stock android, but have also been interested in cyanogen mod for quite some time as well... A decision to make once I actually get a phone.

I think today is my day to get the phone. I'll probably stick to CM but its nice to have a fallback.

    Great stuff.

    Right. Try this:
Flash back to CM + recov:
    0) Backup everything important you have on the device. Flashing will erase all data from your phone.

    1) Download http://dist01.slc.cyngn.com/factory/bacon/cm-11.0-XNPH25R-bacon-signed-fastboot.zip and unzip

    2) Turn off device, then press the power and hold the Volume Up button until the device shows the fastboot screen

    4) Start the fastboot tool and run the following in the command line, in sequence:

    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
    fastboot flash system system.img
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    fastboot flash cache cache.img
    fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
    fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
    fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
    fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
    fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
    fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
    fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin

    5) Still using the same command line, enter "fastboot reboot" to reboot your OnePlus One into CyanogenMod
    Then try again, from start.

It's official, since it's from device manufacturer :)
Google is releasing the Android source to AOSP (Android Open Source Project).
Other are taking over from here for porting devices other than ones from Nexus range - either the manufacturers, either independent developers.
