    Tried several times copying to PC, each time aborts post 3 to 4 GB. Expect future updates improve the app and subsequently objective of the application itself

    I never faced an issue using Helium, except the MIUI devices where you cannot set the desktop backup password... Of course Titanium is far better, but root privileges are not always an option, as bank android applications and cable TV android applications cannot run on a rooted device.

    No backup and restore function available.
    Only the QR code scanner. Same as previous version.

    There's no need to root the device. The underlying system allows applications to be granted root authority (via both mandatory access control and discretionary access control), while the device remains locked / unrooted. Usually this is reserved to applications that are in the ROM, so the signature can be verified on update.

    I wanted to do a factory reset to solve a WiFi issue as posted in one of the threads.i backed up data using OnePlus Switch,copied to the computer,completed factory reset,copied file back to back up on phone and attempted restore using the switch. The back up file isn't being detected although I can see the file through file manager. pl help
