I'm now on official LOS 15. So I use the OP2 camera app. After taking the first picture with it, the camera freezes on that picture I took. I have to completely restart the camera app to be able to take another picture again. Just to have the same problem when taking another picture.

Anyone else? Should I just go with the google camera?

The changelog for the next release to be compiled has a ton of fixes for camera, kernel and oneplus 2 specific fixes. Saw also some fixes on WiFi part. Next release will possibly be more stable and with less bugs. Nothing about volte yet or buttons swap.

So after testing the first build for nearly a week now I can say that battery life is great. Running LOS with stock gapps and no other kernel brings me nearly 4 1/2 h screen on time which is pretty good for a nearly four year old battery. To NB be honest I don't really miss the boeffla kernel I used so long on 14.1.

In tomorrow's build there will be a ton of changes, and video recording will finally work.

    happy Easter everyone

Working so far. Just cleaned system partition keeping data. Getting a vendor-image mismatch message at boot. Like others on XDA. Stupid april-fools-stuff built in - should disappear within a week.

    I will test a bit.

    Cheers

Does LOS 15.1 for OP2 come pre-rooted? I think I read this once, but I'm not able to give anything root access.

e: I remember needing SU to root for 14.1, but unfortunately there is no version 15.1 in the Downloads extras for LOS

Can you check if the camera is working fine (manual Mode, photo and video recording)? Also comment on stability and battery usage after some time. I'm looking at the next release for upgrade to 15.1.

No. Some of the maintainers of the unofficial ones had them prerooted.
