I just installed the 6.0.2 version of this ROM and Stock ARM64 Gapps (Opengapps). After installation, it booted and let me set up my apps and everything. The only problem I have encountered is the camera giving the following error:

and Snapchat telling me it can't connect to the camera. Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong?

I had the same problem. A reboot fixed it for me.

Yeah, I fiddled around with clearing the cache in Android and all that before I realized I needed to flash SuperSU. So when I rebooted my phone to do that, the camera issue fixed itself.

By the way, if anyone is looking for how battery life is on the newest version of the ROM, here my results after about 3 days of use:

I'm not sure if it will get any better but I'm hoping it will.

I have over 3 hours SOT in one day :)
With 6.0.1 I arrive every day at 23:00 o'clock with 3.5 SOT, with 6.0.2 I need to recharge at 19:30-20:00.
I think the problem is the overheating issue that I have with my OP2.
    Actually I use 6.0.1.

6.0.2 for me is hotter than 6.0.1.
A lot of people says that they don't have problems. If you have OOS3 I suggest you to use Boeffla Kernel and wait for Paranoid 6.0.3. The actual build has a lot of new bugs.

Not sure if i should switch or not. I started to get weird performance stutters on 3.0.2 recently. And my battery life is trash, I have to usually recharge around 8pm to have enough battery to last me till I go to sleep. Pretty annoying. If this improves battery and has a smoother flow I think I might switch to this.

I had this issue with 6.0 through 6.0.2 now, which was the reason for me to go back to OOS3.0.2.
I get random reboots when I use the phone. It's okay when it lays and I don't touch it. But sometimes when the phone should do some light tasks (like installing apps from the Play Store) and I am on WhatsApp at the time it suddenly reboots. I don't know if I can log this because it turns off and the lines in the log are probably gone after a reboot and it will just save the lines after the reboot. Please is there anyone who can help?

Also the phone gets hot while charging. OOS was fine.

Depends on what you want ;-)
If you don't wanna use V4A or greenify with xposed then you don't need root rights.
