No 120 fps in 1080p recording. So It's up to Sony to match Apple in there.

    Curious on their Aperture setup

    I’m really digging they’ve improved s8 a lot.
But I was more surprised by nokia, not only with a bunch of awesome smartphone to budget prices but they all run android one with guaranteed quick updates for 2 years.
They could beat oneplus at their own game, making great phones to reasonable prices.

Yup, but 720p@960fps is rediculously eye popping , good job there.
Why 120 fps in 1080p isn't introduced is yet to know as the hardware is capable.

Doesn't the Nokia team have a similar situation like OnePlus? Lack of professionals for managing software and stuffs?

Darn it, I was hoping for something a bit more groundbreaking, I guess the improvement is like how Samsung dealt with the s6 to the s7. The fingerprint scanner placement, the speakers, and the new camera certainly makes it a nice change from the s8 though.

Probably but Nokia is bigger due to their consumer loyalty and their phones have sold quite a lot last year compared to Oneplus. They keep everything close to stock android and updates the security patches every month unlike Oneplus so I'd say they are better off in terms of software.

S9 is definitely an improvement over s8 in all areas. In addition, FP positioning is much more suitable for the fingers now.
Nokia is doing a gr8 job as well. OP has been constantly denting on users trust, expectations etc. will have a tough time in coming years due to Nokia, Xiomi etc it feels.

I bet they've implemented that FP-Scanner so weirdly just to give their S8 customers a reason to upgrade to the S9! xD

Damn! The S9 really packs quite a punch! I hope that this will inspire other Smartphonemakers to be a little more innovative as well!
It's time for the industry to move out of that stalemate which we could observe in the last two years...
And still I hope that OP can beat this monsterphone! Especially at the pricepoint!

The USA pricing is really good.. $719 through them, with optional financing. Plus, my phone (S7) is worth a $300 trade-in, so it comes down to $419 for me. $80 cheaper than the 5T. Even the S9+ is $539 after trade-in. That's a no-brainer.

That weirdness was a reason many didn't go wid the S8s in the first place too. Noteworthy camera overhaul, stereo speakers with Dolby atmos, far better FP positioning will bring that "additional" mass this time around.
