Need help from OPX users... So this morning I felt like opening Facebook after a very long time and after some time while scrolling through the news feed the app got stuck. I had to force close it and start it again but it got stuck twice even after that. Then, the keyboard started having problems while double tapping to select text in chrome (for cutting, copying etc). Normally if you're typing something and you double tap, it brings up the keyboard along with the cut, copy, paste options at the top. But when you double tap on text which is a part of the page content it shows Google search option at the bottom. So while typing something here on the thread I wanted to double tap and select the whole thing I wrote to clear it out at one go. But the system got confused between these two scenarios and started bringing up the Google search option and the keyboard multiple times randomly. Totally confused. What I do understand is that with such poor optimisation, android is never gonna catch up with iOS - not just other OEMs but the Nexus line as well, unless they decide to change the whole eco system in the near future. I feel a bit lame about android now. Not sure why those things happened because it happened right some time after I cleared cache from recovery.

After the latest update of my X I still had some problems, even after clearing the cache. So I decided to do a full reset. For the first time in my life!

Long story short: it helped a lot. My X is running as good as possible atm.

If you want some tips to avoid problems, ask me.

Thanks... I did a factory reset once in the previous version and it was almost perfect... I did it by mistake so I didn't realise that it had benefits :p
Gonna reset it as you said before my college starts, or all my digital files and resources will be out of place when I need them

Well, I had had to go full reset last month, had my pics backed up on Google and Mega, if you let Google do full backup in settings you'll be up and running in no time really :)

Looks like FB app killed your cache again. Clear FB app and system cache again, see how it goes.

And ditch the drama Kid, use Metal for Facebook or Chrome...

    Btw, Metal has dark theme.

I'll try Metal and once I'm comfortable with it, I'll stop using Facebook app

I usually keep signed out of Facebook to reduce sync frequency so it uses comparatively less battery... As suggested by akki I also greenify it frequently for battery's sake

You can set the frequency for how often Metal should scan for new messages, or switch it off, so total control, can't beat that, not even Greenify :)
