Just thought I'd give nova users the heads up that the latest update includes voice activation for Google Now anywhere in the launcher.

If you have xposed, there's a module that lets you use the OK Google command on whatever app you choose, including your launcher (I'm using Apex). It's called 'OK Google for 3rd party activities'. It's a really cool module. Check it out!

This is a free module. It'll work in any app you set it up for. I'm using the paid Apex launcher which currently does not have the OK Google command. But this module is a little work around for it. :)

Thanks for the info. I switch between launchers often, so I didn't get the paid version of Nova.

I haven't really noticed that much difference in my battery life. Well... I'm only using that module on my apex launcher. It might use more battery if I was always on the homescreen though.

I haven't used it yet, but adding any 'always on' feature is gong to eat some battery. Just give it a shot and turn it off if you have neg battery life.
