  1. paolo.penalosa37 , via OnePlus 9 Pro , May 17, 2021 :
Hi! I just switched to OnePlus 9 Pro, and I got this message saying that "I don't have the correct settings to access the internet or send mms, settings will be sent to your handset". And then suddenly I have notifications from omacp configuration messag. Just wanna make sure that this is not a malware etc. Before I install it.

That message can be from your carrier
You can call your carrier and ask

Thanks for the configuration tips but i heard lots of negative things about this application. However, you can check the detailed guide here. But i want to know is it really harmful? Please let me know.

OMACP is basically a system app for smooth functioning of SIM and Configuration. OMACP itself is not a virus but because of some loopholes this app invites hackers. You can visit here for more info.

    Hi my friend,
I switched as well yesterday to the new oneplus 9 pro, and then happened exactly the same to me.
How about you, could you already remove it or how did you handle it.
I think all the Internet-Foren look a little suspicious to me, and I don't exactly know what to do. I'd be happy for some help if there is some.
    Best regards

OMACP is a silent battery drainer in your smartphone that requires manual deactivation. However, you should not worry about the deactivation as it can be done through IoT Hidden Menu or many other system apps.
