    My Nord had the same issue plus it had purple tint. Today I returned my Nord for a refund. I don't think I will be buying a OnePlus device for some time until they fix these issues on their devices

    Probably hardware since some units have it and some other don't.

    We are basically doomed mate! I am facing the same issue. When I called the customer care, they said and i quote 'its a property of AMOLED screen and cant be fixed'. You can do a workaround by reducing DC (which is not available in Nord). But this affects the screen quality. We can accept these kind of problems in cheap phones with amoleds. But this is a premium mid range phone and we paid 30k for this. I cant tolerate this kind of problems. This is my first oneplus and i am really upset about it. I want to return it and get my money back. But they are not even ready to give a replacement. If things wont work out well, I am taking this to consumer court.

    i'm returning the one I have and giving the brand a second chance, so I buy a new one after that, if nothing changes on the new one, i'll get a full refund.

    It is a common thing in every ph today I got to know. Mostly with oled display and oneplus has the. Some other company ph also have this.

    Hi @Banerji1 and everyone raising this concern,

    Thank you for bringing us this to our attention. I want to shed some light on this matter.

    OnePlus Nord features a high-quality 90Hz AMOLED display. In order to optimize the front-facing camera cut out, the surrounding circuitry has to be adjusted. As a result, under low light settings, an extremely slight brightness difference (horizontal phenomenon) may be observed. This phenomenon is a normal occurrence.

    This is only visible in a few very specific use scenarios and does not hamper the performance of the device in any way.

    Please ask oneplus to print this line in the box and sale, as u said. Do not make us fool. Because it is hampering my user experience. I do not know about others.
