    so was on a call finished it , (battery was 56%) put phone down , came back to it about 1hour later , no response . tried holding power button down , no luck ..
    power and volume up for 10 seconds woke it up .

    My OP7P has not had the shut down/unresponsive issue for the past 14 days. Yes, 2 weeks since I flashed OpenBeta 1.

    Prior to OB1 my phone was shutting down once daily, and even twice, which is what prompted the switch to OB1.

    Interesting. Perhaps they have finally fixed it. I really don't feel like installing a beta OS so hopefully they roll this out to everyone soon.

    Mine was dead again when I woke up this morning.
    I'm tempted to install the beta, but I've read that there are issues with banking apps and also Android auto. I use these on a regular basis so not sure about taking the plunge!!

    This morning i've got an eMail from OnePlus-support which says that our issue is an Software error. OnePlus is working with high pressure on it and with the next update it should be solved.
    This corresponded with the experience of AccuNeal.

    There are no problems with Android Auto, Google Pay, my banking app, credit card app on Open Beta 1 and as of this morning on Open Beta 2.

    I have a temporary solution to use for now that has worked the last 2 weeks for me I say "hey Google show my alarms" or "hey Google open my alarms" whichever gets you to your stock alarm app

    Then go to the "stopwatch" tab at the bottom right and just let the stopwatch keep running.

    I do this before I go to bed because I run a business and I need to get calls but you can keep it running all day if you wish.

    Still not a fix @OnePlus and I will be calling my attorney tomorrow..
