sux. I'll see what I can do about it. I won't pay a penny for this, this is 100% OnePlus' fault.

write an email to the oneplus support and report what you're experiencing. they'll likely offer you a free repair even if it's out of warranty.

I went to service centre. They told the adhesive is gone due to vigorous usage. I need to pay 6k to change the screen. I asked the cause to which he was mum. Indirectly he told me to use the phone as it is and buy next oneplus.

I stopped using dash charge because my phone got tremendously hot (around 55°C) when charging. I guess that's how my screen popped off.

I would be glad to do so. I think my screen is coming off because the battery is overheating when charging. This is a serious issue. I don't think it's safe to charge my oneplus any longer.

Today I noticed it unfortunately also with my OP3. At the upper right corner of the phone the display comes off. Has anyone done a repair on their own? What kind of glue would you use?
I've been using the OP3 since the first day it was released.

And just at my recommendation my girlfriend bought herself an OP6. I hope now that this error does not creep in on all phones from Oneplus.

Facing the same issue with my phone .The screen is coming out from top right corner .I visited this official service center in my town as mentioned on One plus website :

Mahamaya Infotech, B1b2 1st Floor, Garchaz Complex Jail Road, Raipur - 49200

They said they can only replace the screen and wont paste it (glue it ) back . I asked them to please email this to me in written to which they refused .

Should i get it glued from a local shop or anyone got it done from official service center. I will be happy to pay for the service as my phone is out of warranty.

I suggest gluing it back down or visiting a service center if you can't do the repair yourself.

I would use a small amount of gorilla glue or it any good quality general use/ multi-purpose glue , put a small amount of weight on the screen to press it down overnight.
