Google says "Make your phone ring at full volume, even if it’s muted. You can also use Android Device Manager to find your phone's location on a map."
But when i kept my OnePlus 3T mobile in Silent Mode using the special switch, and try to give a ring using Android Device Manager, it does not make the ringtone sound. I am not sure if this is a bug with Android Device Manager or Onplus 3T's Silent Button feature. This feature will definitely be helpful when we need to located our muted device.

I was just going to post exactly the same (except I am unable to post as I am a new member just now)! I too have a 3T and Android Device Manager is not able to get it to ring if the phone is in SILENT with NO NOTIFICATION.

The same result ensures, issue is present. HOPING it will be corrected in the nougat release. Major security flaw.

OnePlus 3T user and I'm also experiencing the same issue. Is anyone able to verify is this occurs on the Nougat update?

This should now work in 4.0.3 (does for me on the 3, so will very likely also work on the 3T)

I am not sure when this happened but for the past several weeks, when I select the OP3T within "Find your phone" (as a test)(Google Device Manager) I always gt a 404 page. It appears that the phone is being tracked as I get information when it was last "seen" but only a 404 when I actually select it. Any ideas?

    Dear OnePlus User,

    Good day!

Does the issue still persist? If yes, we suggest that you update the software to the latest version. If issue still occurs even after the update, then we recommend that you initiate an updated bug report. Furthermore, if you encountered new issues or concerns, we urge you to create a different report for each new issue. With that being said, we will now close this thread.

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,
    OnePlus Bug Hunters
