im planning to upgrade my old OnePlus 2 cause it starts struggling in daily life.
Im not quite sure which phone i should pick i would like to stick to OnePlus but Honor View 10 sounds good too.
The main aspect that the OP5t is better in my opinion is the AMOLED screen, cause im a big fan of the deep blacks and colourful contrasts.
But The V10 has also some interesting aspects like the NPU.

Do you guys have some Pros or Cons for these Phones you could list me here?

One main Question i have is, is typing with one possible with an 6 inch phone , i have quite big hands.

    Its hard decision for me

    Thanks in advance

I considered both and went with the 5T and so far I have no regrets, it has proved a great phone and I highly recommend it.

I am also looking for an upgrade to OP2.So far my search.
1)Honor View 10 has NPU and AI features.
2)OP5T main camera is better then V10 in low light.
3)Honor V10 seflie camera is far ahead then OP5T and V10 has portrait mode in front camera also.
    4) OP5T has EIS and V10 does not have it.
5)V10 has oreo out of the box. So it might support treble. Whereas OP5T does not support treble.
    6) OP5T has amoled screen, V10 has IPS LCD.
    7) OP5T has gorilla glass and V10 does not have it.
    8)V10 has bigger battery.
9)V10 has fingetprint sensor on front.
    10) V10 cost less than OP5T.

Considering my past experience with OP2 software i will go with V10.

Don't check anywhere else. Just go for Honor V10.
I had same confusion. I bought 5T and friend got View 10.
after using both for 15 days, I can say view 10 is better. I am feeling bad choosing 5t and spending 3000₹ extra.

Only issue I see with view 10 is, it is little bulky and heavier than 5t.
Remaining all... screen clarity, pictures clarity, camera application, features, functionality, customisations, looks.... view10 is better than 5t.

lot of OnePlus reviews seems to be paid ones as no one talks about oil paint like photos, camera application without any filters modes, no front portrait, how 20mp is used...etc.
View 10 has all the features and pictures are sharp and clear. portrait modes both front and rear are superior.

low light photos 5t has f1.7, Honor has f1.8 ... 5t is little better here but I don't find any issues with view 10 low light pics. they stand out good.

    I strongly recommend view10 over 5t

Huawei (Honor) software is so good OP ripped off some of its features.
I would choose the View 10 because it better, it has AI, way more features and a camera that works as intended.

But I am a fan of stock Android and OnePlus looks a lot more like it... Huaweis emui isn't that clean(My Opinion) and it has some bloatware on it. But when this isn't important for you I would go also with the Honor.
Also for me the OnePlus 5t isn't better then the OnePlus 5.
They killed the zoom lens and I like the Fingerprintreader in the front. Also I don't like software buttons, which is a pro aspect for the Honor smartphone ... Maybe I would wait for the OnePlus 6. Better processor and maybe an Fingerprintreader under the screen.

So I think he/you must decide by himself/yourself and for me the main argument would be the Software and I recommend OnePlus #NeverSettle

oneplus is bringing gestures to 5t, so you dont have to worry about about software buttons
why do you need finger print sensor on the front when you have face unlock and having fingerprint scanner on the back has it's own advantages like notification gestures and camera gestures

personally i like the OP5T the most because of its superior camera performance and because of the oxygen tweaks.
i dont like how the camera sticks out the v10, looks like binoculars.
I dont like the V10 design, it's heavier than the OP5T and it doesnt have gorilla glass which is a big no go for me.
Even tho it has AI it doesnt even do a damn thing.
The snapdragon 835 is still superior in terms of performance and the 5T has one of the most beautiful and accurate screens in the market, way superior than Honor's V10.
The lack of any stabilisation in the V10 makes it one of the worst cameras in the flagship range.

But the V10 is cheaper and it has a SD slot. It has portrait mode in the front facing camera and its one of the best, superior than the 5T.
Despite taller it's slimmer than the 5T.

At the end it comes down to own preference. The OP2 is different than the oneplus 5T in every regard.
If i would choose i would pick the 5T any day. Because its better looking, i love the near stock oxygen OS. I like the cameras and i love the design, but most of all, i love this amazing amoled screen and its battery performance.
I got the 64gb model and i the space is plently enough, ingot 50gb left so i dont need a sd card slot.

update: they already released sources and recruited few developers last week. they are giving free phones to LOS, Aosp... etc ROM developers and encouraging to get custom roms.
that's too good for Honor company. trying very hard.
if you see honor comes with Oreo and January security patches, with treble support.
where as 5t latest beta update still with December patches, and said they won't implement Treble.
