it seems you have to touch to focus..if you let the camera do its auto focus it's not accurate..so far that's my findings

And were you expecting pixel level experience?? Obviously camera is not as good as other flagships, but you need to utilise this camera hardware to its fullest. Use gcam, manual mode, look for some tricks with camera to get more better results.

that is mostly because of the digital zoom.

Was looking for problems other might have on their 6t camera as well.

The issue with my camera is the picture taken is fuzzy (especially on words) comparing to looking through the camera screen before taking the photo.

I actually notice it yesterday shopping at Costco taking photo of the ingredients on the protein bar box. I did not zoom but just press on the screen to focus.

In fact, I just try taking photo of the writing on another box with my friends s7 and my 6t. My picture is noticeably more blurry on any writings.

I love this phone and I really want to keep it.

Can fellow 6t users try it with their phone and let me know if they are having the same problem? Thanks guys.

For me one plus 6t was a big upgrade...I was using Redmi 4 before this....but I am really disappointed with the camera. Colours are distorted....pictures are not as clear as I expected from a phone costing close to 40k

The OP6T camera app is a joke. Using the Google Camera produces WAY better results. OnePlus processing software is just not the best, and that is to be expected.

Check these out (you can guess which ones are from Google Camera and which ones arent lol)

Edit: These are 12MP shots cropped to show you the real processing power that the GCam has. The shots are actually pretty far out.

Edit 2: To elaborate, the cropped pics in the red link are shot from a 6T, one using the Google Cam, and the other using OnePlus Cam.

so the story continues. Why can't OnePlus swallow some of its ego and take tips from the gcam devs..they can even steal the code perhaps..
