Does anyone know when the Android 10 update will arrive on the T-Mobile version of the OP 7 pro?

that's exactly what I just did last week. it's not difficult, just make sure you get it SIM unlocked 1st (paid off) avoids issues later. then follow the instructions to get your bootloader unlock token from OnePlus. it decrypts the bootloader & makes like easier. I did it all then relocked it after installing the direct OnePlus international Oxygen OS 10. Of course you don't have to do all that, but if you want things like GPay to work etc it's best to just get it to the same state it would be if you got it direct from OnePlus. Don't know if it's true or not, but I read that you can buy a replacement dual SIM tray & regain that ability as well.

It's your choice, you shouldn't be doing it if you don't want to take a risk (I used a t mobile variant 6t on t mobile, converted to international and it worked just fine).
Judging by your comment, I would suggest you not to convert.

The earliest I can guess it will come is in Q1 of 2020.

Again, I am just making a guess based on the posts I linked above. It still depends on t mobile when they want to push it.
