G_Nigel_Underhill_(MrXei , via OnePlus 8T , Oct 25, 2020 : It appears the Bluetooth does not work on this device, i am able to pair and connect Bluetooth headsets, but no audio is ever played. The headsets are able to stop and start video or music, but not able to receive any sound 🙄 do I need to return my phone ?

ETMilord , via OnePlus Community App , Nov 3, 2020 : I actually have been having the same issue with bluetooth headphones that have worked well for several other phones. One headset will connect to my 8T and start working but then after some time passes with no active audio, I can't get anything to play until I turn my headset off and on. With another headset (earpods), I only hear a low volume static no matter what I do. Both bluetooth headphones have worked great with other phones without this issue. Also in both cases, the headsets can control the playback on the device but there are issues with getting audio to output to the headphones.

gstmrewind , Nov 8, 2020 : I can confirm the problem is still existing, I am trying to use the phone with two different cars and bluetooth is not working correctly. The phone connects then disconnects in couple of seconds. Any chance for a further software update?

R1606396819387 , Nov 26, 2020 : My OnePlus 8T disconnects from my cars bluetooth after about 2min after pairing and causes the uconnect system in the car to restart. I've upgraded to the most recent oxygen os and device reset and the issue persists. Repairing just causes the issue to happen again even if I clear the pairing on both devices.
F_Maarten_Van_Den_Kieboo , Dec 4, 2020 : Also experiencing Bluetooth issues, I have bought the 8T recently and my 200 USD Phone has a better Bluetooth encoder, While my volume used to be at 31, I'd have to put the volume at 38 right now, and the bass would be screwed up. I am probably gonna retour the phone because car sound quality is that important to me... Its so sad cause I love it.

Saúl C , Dec 11, 2020 : Are you guys also seeing bluetooth skipping? I just got my first phone coming from a Galaxy S10 Note and have not looked at accessories yet. I'm using a Galaxy watch and bluetooth headphones. When I get a call my headphones lose connection and it goes straight to my watch. After that it will drop again and just come out of my phone. I am starting to hate all this and may even return my phone. Mind you the bluetooth headsets work wine with my fire tablet and an older ipad. Thoughts?
