I got my One Plus 9r yesterday and was working fine. I didn't notice any heating problem, but today i got new update around 350mb and after that update device started heating like Hell!! I mean 43°c is normal with light usage (like, using instagram or pre-installed apps).

Anyone facing issue after 16 april update? Please update me with your situation.

Over heating & battery drain in oneplus 9R. Today only my one plus 9R is delivered to me. This my first one plus but very much disappointed by the product. It gets overheated & also battery drains rapidly. Please help

If you only received it today, am guessing you are installing updates, apps and other restored data. This will give the phone a workout. Once the most recent OOS update has installed, go through a couple of full charge cycles and see how it is functioning at that point.

I have the same issue after the update. While playing CoD Mobile my phone gets very hot 41C and the game crashes constantly! Never had such problems before! Is there a fix?

Games such as COD will generate heat anyway as it is using GPU, SOC, RAM etc. But check the links in the post above to see if they can help with your issue.

The issue is that it was working perfectly before the OS update, oneplus f... something hard and making my phone a brick for gaming :(

41°C isn't hot at all. Silicon (the metal used in chips) can handle much, much hotter temperatures than that.

And... you're doing what? Playing a game like PUBG or sitting idle? Download CPU-Z then take a screenshot of the thermal tab.
