One Plus Headphones not great....

I've just received my shiny new OPO and a set of their new headphones. I'm far from an audiophile but either the OPO has a poor sound quality chipset or the new headphones are pretty awful. Bass is excellent at least, lovely and warm and heavy, but everything else is way below what I was expecting. Quite a large amount of background noise and certain tracks such as classical sound quite muddy.

I think given the quality, they should come as a freebie with the phone. I was also expecting something quite solid and heavy but they are surprisingly lightweight. Not necessarily a downside I guess, but far from a premium feel.

Wish I'd tried the JBL's now.

    What does anyone else think?

Yes, the new OPO ones. Look great on their site, but personally I don't think they'e worth more than a few pounds, maybe £5 most.

Rooting a OPO isn't rocket science. we have dedicated threads here on the forum that can guide you and best part is it wont void your warranty.

Genuine Xiaomi Pistons 2.1 for just $20 USD seems like the obvious choice over both the OP headphones and the JBLs.

Couldn't agree More. But the Headphones sound only as good as your drivers are. [I have tested crappy Samsung provided headphones for my Note 3 with Viper4Android they were out of this world. Well i Use JBL now)
