SoThere is a launcher after all. Yes there is not but there is one in form of widget by Google for temp. and weather. So there is Google photos. And OnePlus gallery. That's not the point . There will be something which was developed by OEMs. The thing is why can't we have more of OnePlus flavoured apps not as a bloatware but selective installation by playstore.
In this case we will be having one when we get a smart band from OnePlus I guess.

    I found your threads: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/samsung-health-not-auto-recording-steps-etc.808376/
    https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/samsung-health-not-auto-recording-steps-etc.808376/

But this is not a bug report, just a thread in the Community part of the forum. By reporting through the link I gave you (https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback/), the report will go directly to the OnePlus bug hunters.

Google Photos is a cloud based gallery. OnePlus Gallery has no connection to a cloud whatsoever. that means that they are not the same and therefore not a copy or dublicate of another

I have already reported twice but did not hear about the same from anyone. Trust me, me and other members have exhausted every option at XDA. It seems that op is somehow halting Samsung Health in a way.

Again, as I explained before, you did not report it. You posted your issue in a community forum composed by members such as yourself.
I've checked for any actual reports and found none. Not from you, not from everyone else. Still, if you don't want to go through the trouble, at least explain here the exact steps to reproduce the issue. I will do it myself.

I did report it back then. Just install that app in any of the op phones and it won't track anything, like say your steps.

Again, I checked, you created two threads on General Support. Those are not reports.

Still, regarding your steps to reproduce, I can't. At least with your limited description. Installed the app, it's tracking my steps just fine:

this is great idea ... either make something where we can connect our different company bands to OnePlus health app to get analysis of our data.

Why would I lie about reports? Just close the app, do your work for the next few hours and then open the app and check the step count.

I used to do it, but it doesn't work most of the time. it stops counting your steps frequently so why would you use something that doesn't work.

I'm not saying you're lying. I'm saying that the reports you created aren't actual reports. They are threads created in the General Support category.

As for Samsung Health, I will make a side by side comparison with Mi Fit, Google Fit and Samsung Health tomorrow from 0 steps, now that I disabled battery optimization.

I'm having big discrepancies, but since I was using a wrist pedometer I still can't be sure. Today I should be able to have definitive proof and then submit the report if need be.
