Yeah, that is amoled screen burn-in. Usually caused by displaying a static image for many hours every day, and at maximum brightness. The only fix is to replace the screen, but I would not worry about this, as it is very subtle.

And yet people still want the notch-hide solution to return to the "old way".

Now you see why the icons were pushed down below the notched area despite people's reluctance for it to be this way? Now you gotta get the screen replaced.

Ha ! Yeah, this made think of that too !! Makes me not want to study an all white screen on my phone. I'm sure after a couple of years, there could be a greyish spot here or there, but the phone still looks great and works great.

you can't blame the company for how you used your device. i also own OnePlus 6 and its still fine, i don't hide my notch. i also have OnePlus x that was bought way back in 2015 and still no burn ins. AMOLED will burn if you don't bother to take care of it.

    Choose an option.

    1. Buy a new phone.
    2. Get the display replaced.

Those are your only two real options.

Also , how many threads do you ******* need for the same crap ?
