    He guys, I am experiencing the same problems as Padn1. Great to hear that the problem is fixable. For me, however, it isn't clear how I can uninstall Google play and oxygen. Can somebody support me with clearer - step by step instructions? Many thanks in advance!

    Hello,
    I tried the disabling of Google Play Services (done), uninstalled all the updates (done) and then went to Google Now so it would update. However, when I try to update Play Services I get the error (attached). I'm on CM12.12-YOG4PAS1NO, Android Version 5.1.1
    My initial issue is the battery is terribly, terribly slow to charge (right now it's on 69% and it says 7 hours to full over USB, when it used to charge over USB in around 1 hour from 15%)
    Please help!

    Same problem as JorgeA. It's very slow charging these days and battery drain just too quickly. Please advise. Thanks.

    Well, to be exact, I cant find out if the battery is damaged or its just a software issue, i ran youtube videos in safe mode on it, and the battery drained just a little bit slover, with minimal usage, in 6 hours, on an lte connection it usually drains to 50 percent.(minimal usage includes 10 minutes of agar.io gameplay, and literally nothing else.)

    I use oneplus one with oxygen 1.0.3 build 150827. To tackle battery drain I use disable service app ver 1.6.5. Go to System - Google Play services and turn on system update service explicitly. I find that after a reboot this service is not on and the phone is awake most of the time resulting in battery drain.

    About a month ago, my battery started draining fats and it has gotten worse over the past week. The battery barely holds four hours of after a full charge and the phone gets very hot. Also, over the past week, my main SMS messaging app (SMS) crashes nine out of 10 times -- I can start the app but when I click any of the messages I was to read or type, it freezes and crashes. Also, since yesterday, my phone dilaer crashes very often. Any thoughts/help? I am not familiar with how to flash ROM, etc.

    Also, since yesterday, charging has been very slow -- overnight, the charge went from 35% full to 74% full.

    I'm curious, is that a USB extension or a electrical extension? The latter shouldn't matter, but if that is what you are using, get a better thicker one.

    I've read on a few threads (relating to flashing ROMS, etc) that you MUST use the original USB cable that came with the phone.

    An interesting aside. My old LG phone charges twice as fast as it used to with the OPO USB cable (red and white).

    Oh, I forgot to mention. My OPO cable (red and white) charges incredibly slow when connected to my Mac tower via USB.

    New member here on Oneplus site. I registered because I have a Oneplus 2 now :).

    What is the current rating of your Mac tower? Your phone might be charging slower because the current rating of your Mac tower is lower than the provided charger unit by Oneplus.

    I bought a Oneplus One last year as a gift to my girlfriend. For someone who loves to keep in touch with her friends on social media & watch media contents on phone, I believe it has ( and still have) a great battery life.

    I flashed it with CM12 Nightly ( correct if I'm wrong with the name of the ROM) + Kernel by Franco.

    Uninstall facebook and facebook messenger. I heard they drain battery like crazy. I uninstalled the facebook app and just goto the mobile site using chrome.

    Having to have my phone permanently in battery saver mode. It definitely isn't the google services draining my battery as I got rid of it awhile ago. Still only get 4 hours screen time from full charge. Also won't charge if phone is on. Always have to turn it off! Any help would be great!

    Running on linage os 14.1 nougat 7.1.2

    My 2nd experience currently iam using marshmallow official update ROM I got app 4hrs battery life
    Not much difference

    the battery will be quite old now and gone through many power cycles.

    maybe consider a battery replacement
