Got a mate requesting me to help out for a porno shoot next weekend (and no I'm not participating :p).
My main video camera is broken and in for repairs. Just wondering if I could get away filming the shoot on the handset in 4K?

A few things which comes to mind....
    1. Battery time. Assuming the actors last longer than the battery
    2. Action - ability to capture the scene on a small screen
    3. When zooming close up, I don't want to loose definition and detail.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Oh boy! I'm just going to wait for someone to make some kind of joke :p

You could look at sample videos from both phone on Youtube @ganstakillerz
From what I've seen so far the OP2 seems to keep hunting for focus when you're shooting a video. Not always but I've seen that on a few reviews...

OnePlus One with @Sultanxda Unofficial CM12.1 ROM is great for video shoot!

Well, I um. I'll keep this professional. Yes and no. Does it have the ability to record video, yes. Can anyone make it look good, no. Of course, that applies to just about any camera.
It comes down to the operator and understanding the limitations of the camera you are using.
Lock f stop and focus for your shots, or focus will hunt around like crazy. Zooming I'd stay away from, maybe a few mm but image quality will far apart quickly.
Stay on a low iso, and feed the sensor light. It needs a lot of light. 4K works well but expect crashes if your doing really long takes.
Framing shouldn't be an issue. The screen is as large or larger than nearly every built in screen/evf on the market. It's as good as a small HD dp4.
Battery, well it should suffice, I'm not going to touch this one.
Make sure you slate and don't rely on the phones audio for mastering. You be better off just crinkling a bunch of paper bags by a microphone.
Best of luck and be cautious where you put set your gear down.

Yes you can shoot 4k but it has a limit of 5 minutes i believe, actors better be amateurs :p
