I'm wondering if there's going to be any difference between the the two offerings?? Outside of it being locked?? Even the previous One Plus 6 supported LTE bands 66 and 71.
Also pretty impressed on how much coverage T-Mobile is giving One Plus (6t) on their home page.

There is a T-Mobile version and Unlocked version. I’m in line now and they are asking people which one they want.

To be honest, the price isn't different, unless there's some decent promotion (outside of trading in an older device) I'd go direct with One Plus. I also understand many if not most don't want to drop $600 to $700 all at once and some sort of monthly paying scheme is better then having no OP6t at all. I recently sold my OP6 to help with paying for my Pixel 3xl. I'd be more interested in the OP7 coming about next year.
In any case, good luck to all of you who do get the 6t, no matter how one does it.

#1 will the TMobile version be unlocked?
    #2 will it have bloatware?
#3 will TMobile be the one sending out software upgrades?

    Same questions
    Will it be unlocked
    Will the bootloader be unlocked
Can we flash the official OnePlus rom to get fast updates instead of waiting on T-Mobile approval
Will I be able to run Oxygen OS Beta?
Can we have these answers before launch date?
I am considering trading in my OnePlus One but I am worried about it being a T-Mobile variant I prefer unlocked and uncarriered.

    Please OnePlus give us answers.

From what I've read the T-mobile version will be carrier locked and bootloader locked, both can be unlocked only after the phone is paid off. Also some reviewers mentioned that the T-mobile will not have dual sim and it's only single sim. There won't be any bloatware but you have the option to install it at the beginning of the start up screen. Software updates will be be on a separate schedule different from the unlocked version. But hopefully OnePlus will clear this up in their AMA on Reddit.

I have a T-Mobile 6T I just called T-Mobile and got the sim unlock processed just have to find a foreign sim. Bootloader options are greyed out. Will see if the sim unlock app also enables bootloader unlock. If not than I’m taking it back to T-Mobile and will wait till the 1st to order the unlocked model. Also there is only one sim and there is T-Mobile boot animation and bloatware.

Does the sim tray have a blanked out section ( where sim 2 would normally go) or is it just a shorter sim tray?

Wow, T-Mobile trying to lockdown a phone sought out by power users. Not too smart. I'll buy online. I am just hoping the variant sold on OP.com will support the 600Mhz band. Any confirmation on this?

I’m sure the variants are the same. T-Mobile just took it upon themselves to lock the phone to them. Sim and BL.

I think banding is based on firmware. So if TMobile is pumping out it's own bloated firmware they are probably piggy backing it off of their 600mhz exclusive. I could be wrong though.

The phone is back in the box. I’ll let you know in a couple mins. I’m gonna try and find a foreign sim to see if the sim unlock enables the bootloader unlock. I saw a form online saying it takes 1-2 weeks for a bootloader unlock. If that’s the case that’s definitely a no go for me. I don’t see the Oneplus doing good under T-Mobile sales if they are going this route.
