One plus tv Y series blank screen issue

    I have recently bought one plus Y series 43 inch TV

    But it has some issues

    When I connect HD set top box through the HDMI ports and watch channels than the screen goes off for a few seconds every now and then

    It's like every 15 minutes or so the screen goes blank and returns to normal in a few seconds

    Sometimes the audio is still there playing but most of the time audio and video both goes off for like 2 to 5 seconds

    If I use the same set top box with composite port than the tv works fine, no issues at all

    I have tried changing the set top box , I have tried both HDMI ports, I have tried resetting and updating the TV but nothing is working

    Hey..Namaskaram,
    Try changing the HDMI cable. That's generally the weakest list and most probably the reason for the behavior. Go for a HDMI 2.0 Cable.

    i have y32 recent purchase found same problem on the installation time found same issue may be HDMI cable issue but not sure I think something problem with hardware or software issue, that the TV behave abnormally screen blackout for few second, need to update as soon as possible by hardware or software with the onleplus tv. all this issue could the Oneplus brand name spoil, and its very harm for customers trust on oneplus brand.

    The easiest thing you can do to check yourself is get a new HDMI cable from a known / reputable brand.

    If that doesnt work , you are at the mercy of OnePlus s3rd party support team.
