I have updated all my google apps, a day back. I am not sure what you mean by wake locks though. Pardon my lack of indepth knowledge but what does "phone is never awake in a continuum" mean?
I think I should turn off gestures, like you said - because I am using onePlus's flip cover and gestures do no good since the phone wakes up as soon as I open the flap.

I have already drained my battery completely and charged with phone off - twice.

Yeah, agreed - it's an awesome device.

Awesome wake lock is when phone is in awake condition cause by some app/system process, in your case android system keeps you phone awake the most. And as you can see the line next to Awake on battery history details screen is not a continuous one like in front of WiFi.
    I'm out of suggestions :p

So I formatted, spend 06 hours reinstalling everything and still stuff left to configure. I am losing battery on idle due to my network coverage. During the day hours the battery loss is less. I had 100% at 1am - 8am its 60%

This network coverage is strange, because Airtel has very good signal strength here it's always on full and I have data off. Wonder what's happening. Cell Network is taking 73% of my battery in term sof the drain.

Have you tried inserting sim in another slot? and also try with other provider's sim.
See what battery stats say when you do this.

This battery issue is very concerning... However, if the update does in-fact fix this it should be noted by an official from OPO.

I am looking at getting the device for my dad who is a huge traveller... I am concerned these issue with one sim will increase with two sims.

I myself use Nexus devices so big day tomorrow :)

Ur explanation is agreeable but what about the devices which doesnt get heated. Energy is not generated in them

He explained that those devices dissipate heat much more efficiently, which onePlus clearly lacks in some cases.

    Alright forum -

I somewhat solved this battery drain issue on idle, I don't know if I can call it solution but nonetheless it works for me & it's great.
Yesterday before sleeping, my charge was at 92% and I set my battery to battery saver mode. When I woke up after 7 hours, it was still at 92%

Yes I did not receive updates, but my emails were there - alram worked as it should. I don't care about notification, until I am completely awake. It's been close to 20 hours, charge is at 41% right now and I am not charging today :)
Screenshot attached. If you see my earlier posts with battery stats screenshot, you can see the difference.

Finally though, I found my solution. Not necessarily a solution for all, especially if you are like my younger brother who wakes up every now and then to check his phone for updates and have improper sleep.

    Hope this helps few people.

Battery Draining very fast.Without using any WiFi,without playing any game it drops from
100% to 87 % within half an hour. My OnePlus 2 have Oxygen OS 2.1.1 . How to resolve it.

I personally, and many others, have flashed AK Kernel and idle drain is zero to minimal. You could try that. Search it here, there are a couple good threads on it. I strongly recommend it.

I agree with govind Krishna. I bought the phone for better battery but I am not getting it. One plus needs to do something. I charge my mobile overnight and it drains in just 5 hrs. If I use LTE the just 3 hrs of battery. I wish I had bought Sony Z series..but I got OPT instead.
