    Hi Guys, I just got op2 before 2 days. After using it , now when i press home button its getting a delay around 10 seconds min. I have tried on screen home button, still I am facing the issue.

    Other than that everything is perfect.

    But I would be using the home button for atleast 50 times a day. so should i return the product ?? Suggest me what to do....

    SOLUTION :::

    Hi Guys... Thank you very much for supporting to resolve the issue.

    The Issue is that I have made 'DONOT KEEP ACTIVITIES' - ON in developer option. I think it is force stopping all the apps including HOME BUTTON App (May be) . So by switching that OFF the issue is resolved. But for a improved battery life i have to switch it on in future may be .. so OP2 should solve this issue for a better performance.

    This isnt normal. But it also seems like a software thing. Really weird... I hope somebody can help you and you should find a solution quick (no matter what that solution is)

    People should wait for custom roms . Oxygen OS must be hindering the performance of the OP2

    like the people above said, id switch to another rom. OxygenOS as it is now is not that usable and friendly.

    Deactivate all long press actions it should work fine.
    Return is not the solution to your problem, fix it

    I have tried deactivating all long press actions. I can see the delay even in on screen buttons.

    Buy a buggy phone and fix it yourself? Nice support. Ask for replacement or return. How so rare product has been launched.. You have to cope with crappy phone until it get fixed,maybe.. what a bullsh*t. I understand if you got it for free..

    I'd go with re-flashing the full oxygen 2.02 rom (not the OTA) in recovery. All the instructions and files are in the OnePlus 2 development thread.

    Keep this as an edit in the original post or it'll get lost in lost in the subsequent comments. It'll help others as well.

    OPT is a good phone and the problems faced are common for any flagship. Out of the box it works just fine, it is when people start tinkering with it and forget what they did and come here for support. Stop ranting and help the guy if you can.

    Not a solution. Reloading apps each time they are opened adds needless overhead. Try nova launcher. Again it's not a solution however a fairly simple workaround. It removes the lag for me. Again not an acceptable solution but an interim workaround.
