The new one plus two is out, so what are your thoughts on it vs it's similar performer. The Asus Zenfone 2. Both have 4 gb of ram and 64gb of storage, but with the Asus Zenfone 2 almost $100 less, what do you think about it?

Being a ZF2 owner (along with my Note 4), wait for the OP2. The ZF2 is absolutely excellent for the price, but the build quality is merely mehhhh and the screen is fairly dim.

Zenfone socks. Top power button, dim screen, and Intel processor so basically no ROM support. *shudders*

The only good thing about it is ZenUI. It's aesthetically beautiful.

I recently ordered two zenfone 2, that arrived last week, (one for my mom's bday and other for my aunt) they are really nice phones, super fast and beautifully designed (really tempting) but i'm still waiting for my oneplus 2 I can't settle, oneplus 2 is what I really want.

I decided to buy Zenfone 2 for $300, can save a $100 and save my life without waiting for OP2 invite. Zenfone 2 has almost same specs as OP2, readily available, has better brand Asus. that's it.

I have the OP1, am waiting for the OP2 and I have also purchased the Zenfone2 as a backup (when I thought I had damaged my OP1, luckily a bath in desiccant and rice revived it lol). While the Zenfone2 is a very good phone for the price, it can't compete with the OP1 or OP2 in several areas:
    1. The Zenfone looks nice but it feels very plasticky and cheap
    2. Awful camera
    3. Battery life ok, but not as good as the OP1 (and definitely will not compete with the OP2 battery life)
    4. The 4GB of RAM in the Zenfone help a lot, but the processor is quite slow.
    5. Some odd bloatware which is difficult to remove but this is a minor annoyance.
    Hope this helps.
