Try formatting your SD card using NTFS file format. It worked for me !

My 64gb SD card isn't been recognised at all, won't let me select it on the settings part where has card 1 and card 2, card 2 slider won't do anything.
My SD card has all photo s from old from so reformatting isnt an option as wouldn't that erase everything on the SD card ?

Well, you can copy all the data from your SD card to a folder created on your computer and then format it with NTFS file system. Then you copy back the data you previously saved and insert the SD card in your OPX.

Known issue, OnePlus are releasing a bug fix for this soon. As the guy above me said some people have found that formatting their cards to NTFS fixes the problem.

Hi All, newbie to One Plus here, I just received my One Plus X today - I purchased the 128 GB Micro SD Card from Amazon - I install it into the slot, and it keeps saying it is empty, I have formatted it to NTFS, same issue. Will the OPX even support 128 GB? I read that the max internal memory is 128 GB, if I add the 16GB the unit comes with and my 128 GB card - its over 128 GB lol...
    do I need a 64 GB card?
I have upgraded to the latest firmware Oxygen os 2.1.2
    build # E1005_14_151103
Samsung 128GB EVO Micro SDXC up to 48MB/s with Adapter (MB-MP128DA/AM)

The latest firmware is not 2.1.2 it's 2.1.3 which fixes the sd card issues, so you need to wait for the OTA to hit your device or scan for the update In your phone settings to see if it pops up.

I have 2.1.3 and Samsung 128 GB intermittent working. 64 GB ok. Formatted NTFS.
