One Plus Y series WLAN not connecting to WiFi via OnePlus 7 Pro

    Escudo11 , via OnePlus 7 Pro , May 7, 2021 :
    My One Plus Y series TV is not connecting to the internet the WLAN is always turned off. The internet connection is fine as all other devices including my One Plus 7 pro is connecting to the WiFi. I tried resetting the TV a couple of times but it no good. Can anyone help me solve this issue.

    Please try the following steps to further troubleshoot:

    1. Forget and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.

    2. Clear cache the Wi-Fi background data. If it is still invalid, please back up all the data and flash to the latest OS version.

    3. Try TV Reset -> Settings -> More Settings-> Reset.

    If the issue can’t be solved, please contact support for help.

    Hi..
    Is it happennning suddenly after any update or it has been like that always?
    It does seem like an issue with the WiFi module as it's not being able to stay ON and even TV reset isn't helping.
    Also raise a complaint on OnePlus care to get a Technician to look at it.

    Meanwhile you can use the TV by connecting with LAN Cable.
