Among other advantages, opo has the same durability as compared to z2.....the screen is protected with corning gorilla glass 3........a robust metal frame....

A hard decision for you. But if your giving your invite away, I'll take it.

    imho, go with OPO.
I'm coming from XPERIA V myself and I'm fed up with bloatware and far from perfect firmware with unclear update schedule.
    By bye Xperia.

Go for the z2 if you have the option. Just saw one last week and its like nothing else I've seen in terms of its style. battery life is supposed to be decent too.

Good points, but flaps? You do realize that you can charge the Z2 without removing the flap, right?

I'm selling my Z2. I may go ahead and put it on swappa today even though my Opo doesn't get here until Monday.

I've got both magnector and magnetic dock so I don't have to open any of the flaps.

I purchased and have since returned the Z2 because I didn't like the OS and the bezel. Other than that, the Z2 was better suited for one handed use than the OPO to me anyway.

I have received my OPO and have been using the Z2 for the past month. Overall I like the Z2 better because I can actually use it with one hand. I do like the interface of the OPO a little better, but the dedicated camera button, waterproof capabilities, and design make the Z2 my preferred options. But I can see why others would prefer the OPO as it is a great phone. I just gave that one to my wife.

Hey everyone, I apologize to mods/admins for this question but has anyone considered this debate?

In Canada Bell has offered me a retention plan and rate that would pretty much come to the same as a secondary carrier with the One over two years, in other words I'm paying the exact same for either over time.

My question is, what do you guys think, Z2 is a jack of all trades with same processor and amount of ram, the trade up is a smaller screen for expandable memory and waterproofing.

well, z3 is coming next month at IFA. Honestly depends on your preferences. They are both great devices, I just hate on screen buttons and the z2 price tag ubsubsdized. I would never shell out 700 USD for a phone that will be replaced in less than 6 months.

Are you asking us about HTC the One?
If so, I think you are on the wrong forum here....

Sorry referring to one plus one

Yeah, One plus wins the price war for sure, but the invite system compensates for that. Sony replacing its flagship biannually is pretty annoying but I care for functionality personally. Rumors sound like Z3 isn't going to be that much better than Z2, but nexus 6, and iPhone 6 may have a bump up! So idk...
