@Pete do you mind making entry level Oneplus phone available in India? Many of the people in India don't love to spend that much money. Can you make low cost tech products available in India too?

    Oxygen and Hydrogen...

I'm betting on Hydroxide OS

And...its basic in nature, so say goodbye to those cringe inbuilt camera filters...

Yeah exactly.. this one isn't a small decision that could be made instantly. It's a big one for which they have planned and decided way back. But kept away from everyone's eye.

And for sure this is just a starter for everyone of us, main course is yet to come as @Bobbie63 said.

Thank you for the clear and honest explanation on the developments around OnePlus 2.0. I see the advantages and understand it's has to be done. But please don't loose your approachable and open way to connect with this community.
One of the most important things why I am a happy customer of OnePlus (next to the great smartphones) is this community. And especially how you as a company connect with us. I haven't seen another company where managers, productmanagers and software developers interact with their customers like OnePlus. Please keep this personal approach!

So according to me this sums up and concludes that there would be nothing exiting for op9 users untill 2022 end or 2023. We are setting out desires so high.

Irrespective of what the merged os has to offer but this shift and everything related has completely ruined my experience to android. I have switched to OnePlus after so many thoughts but those processed infos proved to be a junk

Yeah , like I know that we are gonna get a bit something new and a little more smoother ........

But , somewhat I think that Oxygen OS would have been best in each manner .

But , Best of Luck for the project. ✌🏻✌🏻
