OnePlus 2 CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1

@Pete i keep reading this main post over and over again (and this), and i am preplexed at all the promises you guys did and claims of optimized uncompromising gaming experience:

In reality the OP2 turns off all the big cores in games once the devices crosses 40c and that takes only 3 minutes to happen, the OP2 continues gameplay on the small cores ALONE compromising game-play performance, if i wanted a device running a quad a53 at 1.5ghz i would have bought a last year mid range not your "2016 flagship killer"

it gets even worse, running the latest Oxygen 2.1.1 the phone suffers from two serious s810 bugs, it sometimes gets permanently stuck in quad mode and it never re-enables the big cluster unless we reboot or recharge and the worst of all a USB charging bug where the device suddenly fails to charge over PC until we reboot

want more? sometimes in games the GPU clock suddenly gets stuck at the idle 180mhz and a high end game like Need for speed no limits becomes a slideshow

i've written an extensive post about this ordeal, please fix and fix quickly:

thanks! are there any precautions i should take before rooting my OP2? i heard the OTA function will break with root, so i guess I should do a TWRP backup? on the M9 we are forced to a system read only backup first otherwise it wont work

always do a backup, and yes OTA breaks, but you just dirty flash the whole -signed .zip and the kernel again, and you are good to go!

why should I dirty flash the whole signed zip again? i am currently stock isnt it enough to flash custom recovery and flash the kernel?

What do you think about? My OPT compared to my friend's OPT (same OS).
Have I a wrong CPU in my OPT or it's just a software problem?

It's not only a question of CPU-Z values, in AnTuTu benchmark too the CPU model is MSM8994 instead of MSM8994v2.1MTP.

I know I am VERY late to the party here but I wonder if people did have problems with heat, they just used their tears to cool it down.
