This is quite interesting from Ninja.
He seems to love his phone but he finds flaws that would keep him from suggesting it.

what many reviewers seem to forget is that for the price you get a hellova lot of phone!

I don't get his point about Qi charging. What makes him think that Apple will include it in their upcoming devices and make Qi-enabled accesories become mainstream within the timeframe the OP2 is still relevant? Next year, we've got the OP3 already..

You're right about Qi charging and Apple. However the coming of the OP3 next year should not be the excuse for some of the critical feature omissions of the OP2.

I think he over exaggerates stuff. There's no 'fatal' flaw for the OP2.

Depends on how you look at it, especially when having that moniker of '2016 flagship killer' lol. No doubt it's still a good phone though.

Fatal Flaw No. 6: Snapdragon 810, which has been underclocked to prevent overheating. Not sure if its now definitely not overheating.

The '2016 Flagship Killer' is just marketing or dreaming. Either way, the phone is still good

No doubt about that. Just feel that OnePlus should tone down their marketing a little. IMO they should call it something like 'the cheapest flagship you can buy' or 'flagship phone at a budget price'. That would bring the phone so much more justice instead of the overblown hype that people see through.

Tbh even '2015 Flagship Killer' would have been OK. The OPO was '2014 Flagship Killer' and rightfully so, still an excellent device.

Why would OP underclock the 810 and not use 808 from.the beginning? Maybe they want that headline spec saying it is a.flag ship n

A bit of an exaggeration but interesting points. The ONE was a "flagship KILLER". The TWO is like a "flagship attempted murder".

I definitely agree with the invite system and his logic behind the lack of NFC. Also, there looks to be a yellow tint to it like a user recently stated here in the forums.

No, it doesn't even fit the bill as the 2015 flagship killer as it can't even stand against many flagships of this year. Take the Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4 for example, both phones are still better (mostly) than the OP2 but yet they were released some months earlier than this '2016 flagship killer' lol.

I agree, atm OP2 is not great but I think with software updates I think it can get better. I still prefer the G4. Lol I'm just too optimistic

I'm of the thinking that they will address all the two's shortcomings in the next one at Xmas time. I would even go so far to suspect they left it short so to create more buzz that 'This time we nailed it' ...

nothing to see here. just more bellyaching about invites, no NFC, and the flagship killer slogan.

give this guy some bread to go with his whine.
