Correct. OP is moving away from their ideology. But I could be wrong. Maybe it will stay around $350.

If they add the fingerprint scanner to the back of the phone, Note 5 will be my next phone.

Good point about a front flash but let's say you're in bed with the lights off, would you really want a bright flash shining in your eye lol?

Qualcomms sense id doesn't have to take up any space, it can be embedded under the glass so no home button needed.

Thanks, glad to meet a fellow Fedor fan.

Price point with these kinds of features is really going to be interesting. Lets see if the implementation is done as good as they say it is :) Well done nonetheless

If these pics are real, I wouldn't be disappointed. It's a bit different than the One but I kinda like it. But I don't really like this thing:
But the rest seems pretty cool!

I think they will go up to $500. People know the brand now. The fact that they upt the price from 300 to 350 euro in Europe with the explanation that the euro was losing ground to the dollar was quite Luke warm to me. They didn't mention the fact that part costs will have lowered aswell... This, and the fact that they are using expensive parts for OP2 makes me expect a $500 price point. But hey, who knows, they might surprise us again!

Wonder if it will have some fun features with the scanner instead of just unlocking. Hype for the new "one"! ^^

I think two big determining factors of price are features like a fingerprint scanner, but perhaps more important than that is the screen. A 1080P screen is obviously less expensive than a 1440P. If they stay with 1080P than they are trying to start true to the #NeverSettle mantra.

Even Samsung's and HTC's is faster than touch I.D.

$350 is not a bad price, that's a nice price reduction compared to other flagships.

Why don't you want a scanner at the back of the phone? I guess it will be a little harder to place your finger but the Huawei ascend m8 pulls it off ok, i think the scanner on the OP2 will be very similar to that as that is faster than touch id too.

I bet the price will be less than 400$ (for the terminal with more storage). They can't risk the fame of flagship killer

IMO touchID is better and more responsive.

Awkward placement and i feel like i will destroy it in a month. Plus, fingerprint sensors dont like heat and whenever I am outside in the sun, I throw the phone screen down. So the sensor will be exposed to direct sunlight.
