    That's great news.
There have been many 'I got an invite' and 'How I got my invite' coming up since yesterday.
Let's hope we get it soon too.

A very high number. I probably was in Tier 2. Early active supporter and OnePlus One owner.

In short, the invite system helps them limit the amount of devices that are sold which does the following
    • Keeps the cost low because they know how many phones to make. If they over-produce the phone then they lose money and then they can't sell these phones at the low price point.
    • Helps them ramp up production. Production lines are hard to ramp-up at the beginning. The invite system keeps customers from constantly seeing "SOLD OUT" on the phone. Once things have smoothed out in production and they are able to keep up with the demand you will see more invites sent out and eventually will not need an invite to buy the phone (like the OPO)

a little tear rolls down my eye with the feeling that I will never get one of these and will be forced to buy some other phone i don't like this much.. #lifeishard

Is that any estimation of the amount of invites that will be released till the end of this year?
Considering the 4,6Million on the list, I'd like to feel that being at 370k is a good thing...it isn't, right?

Is there any oficial info regarding the volume of invites sent? Just need to know what are my chances to get invite for op2 considering that I'm on no 4 million+

Company already bagged enough money and success of OnePlus One .So, why do they really need invite system now.Just to create #hype .

Lot of valuable customers already lost their interest on op2 because of long wait and queue system ...

    What's ur opinion mates? ??

Hit the search button in the top right corner and you will find several threads with all the answers and thought you want.
No need to open another thread about this

Company is small to take too much demand ... can not produce too much in too little time.. and it gets the hype to add...

I think everyone that makes a thread griping about the invite system should probably get another phone. There are plenty out there, some are a lot better. Some are worse. But don't be angry, remember your the customer.
