I heard from my friend that OnePlus 2 has some overheating issues. My friend said that snapdragon 810 is bad processor for gaming cause it cant stay under 50 celsius.

there was a problem with snapdragon 810 when it was released and people thought as oneplus two is coming with this processor it will also have the same problem but so many reviews came and everyone is saying there is no heating problem and oneplus two is working totally fine

Overheating >> heating > gets hot > gets warm > normal

OnePlus2 gets warm on heavy usage.

I am using OP2, since 2 weeks and trust me there is heating issue.. And I have not even used it very heavily .. I haven't yet played hd games.. Normal use and it starts getting warm and then uncomfortably hot... Save me...

Using OP2 since almost a week now. Pushed it playing Hardcore games, it doesnt ever overheat. it gets warm to the touch, might even get hot whichis not intolerable.

The only fix for the 810 processor is not to use it. 808 or the upcoming 820.
You watch...the OP2 was just a stop gap phone. Even if it has a bit smaller screen, the whatever-Oppo/Oneplus-calls-the-next-device, will have the 820 or 808. Carl pretty much let the cat out of the bag calling it a "wow" device, before trying to downplay it. If the 2 didn't have the bugs it has, it would be an "ok" device, but, as with the Oppo/OnePlus One, it will take a few production builds, to get it right.
The "tricks" to keep the 810 cool, are to use a lot of thermal past, throttling, underclock/undervolting to help keep it cooler. All that switching back and forth just puts more strain on the battery.

Ummm... your friend never heard of the 810? He didn't think there might be a chance that it gets warm? Frankly, I don't believe that it overheats. Gets warm, yes. Just like my OPO, which regularly lingers in the 50ºC to 69ºC range. Just like my Sony, which does the same. Just like my 5S, which has been known to touch 70ºC on occasion. The dirty truth is that all modern phones tend to heat up for sometimes trivial reasons. The stuff I see posted here....
