I suppose it will all come down to quality once it arrives. I noticed massive difference between my Z3 and my Nexus 6 (Z3 takes it!)[/QUOTE]

I just compared my Moto X 2nd Gen (i believe uses same audio chip as the Nexus 6) to the OP1 audio quality using the same song and my RHA T20.

The Moto X is louder which, means it has a more powerful amplifier but the sound was not as good just louder, the bass was not as deep and the trebles were less controlled and the mids less defined. When i plugged in my OP1 the sound quality was definitely better although not as loud on maximum volume.

The RHA T20 are an amazing pair of earphones and definitely sound better on the OP1. So the OP2 will sound better than your Nexus no doubt but i will be surprised if they will sound better than your Z3 because Sony are known for using top quality DAC's in their phones.

That is the best i can do until i get the OP2 to test.

Sorry to hear that it seems more than a thousand people got invites at the London pop-up event not just the top 50, apparently they had loads to give out.

When i get my OP2 i will do a thorough review so don't worry you can decide then whether you want to buy one or not.

BTW, the OP1 is still a great phone and my favourite to this day.

It was a fun day, especially when you get an Invite.

The first thing i did when i left with my goody bag is hide my invite in my pocket to secure it just in case those angry people queued up decided to go the extra mile.

Then i celebrated by going to Nandos...all in all a good day.

I mean, how long would the battery last with "normal usage"?

That question cannot be answered, everyone usage is different so normal for one is not normal for another. MKBHD has a preview video of the phone and says in his test he gets up to 5hrs of screen on time vs the OP1 which, gets up to 6hrs.

So the battery life to him seemed good but not as good as the OP1. You can wait until i get the phone to test it and i can let you know how it compares.

Note that the OP1 has very good battery life.

Did you mention explicitly that you're already running OxygenOS? He might reasonably have assumed you were still on CM; most people are. Or they could have changed their mind since OxygenOS was originally released.
