OnePlus 2 reality - For those who still hesitate

No current-gen flagship phone has USB 3.0 right now. The fact that OnePlus stepped up with USB Type-C instead of the standard microUSB Type-B displays new technology right there. Connector-Type isn't the same as USB Version. There have been microUSB Tyoe-B with USB 3.0 for instance. No phone will have every feature out there, but I think the OP2 has a fantastic feature set. Personally my favorite phone of the year so far.

Marketing gimmick that a lot of people fell for. Just look at the comments on this thread. BTW since you don't know me don't tell me to chill out.

The line I used also applies to your ignorant azz too. Unless you are smarter than Stanford engineers fast charging does NOT affect battery life. A little research goes a long way. You should try it.

I don't care what your favorite phone of the year is so there really was no reason to quote my post.

I think the problem with the North American market, stems from the fact that we are just coming off of the carrier locked/contract market and "only" know to buy a device from the carrier store, which means... Apple, Samsung, HTC, Sony etc. They have NO CLUE where to buy, and are "loyal" to what the stores are pushing. Asia/India/South Pacific areas are not that way.
The other problem with Oppo/OnePlus is, this year, they are the only lower cost/higher spec device out there.

And whats the advantage of having USB 2.0 Type-C? None, its just marketing, but OP does increase some sales on acessories.

Not all people with problems complain about them on the forums.

Yes, it is a good phone. I love the fingerprint scanner as it makes my life so much easier. But now that you have created this threat I must tell you about my problems with OP2.
    - Random shutdowns
    - No support for ANT+ sensors
    - Bluetooth is not working (cannot enable it from the settings).

So yeah.. I am using my OPO again.

    NO NFC
    NO USB 3.0

I'll stay with my OPO for now and consider the new Nexus 6P.

Actually the oxygen os 2.1 sucks at battery. It doesn't have enough battery backup. One plus two stands at 8h2m of web browsing which is shameful.. I excepted 12hr of web browsing from 3300 mAh battery... And many bugs including Facebook app doesn't working. Totally unstable update.. No theme support. If i was at oxygen os team i would have done much better than what they're doing now.

I don't know about much. But you've got some points correct bro. But xiaomi is different than what one plus is doing. Xiaomi also have many other products other than mobile phones. And they are already but player in China..

Phone is obviously far from flagship killer 2016, but for the money it's very solid. One plus one is worst customer service I have experienced. I do understand that they're small company with short staff, but that's no excuse. It took me 7 days to get a response from them for rma and it hasn't been solved yet. I hope one plus focus more on the customer support than trying to promote their phones. I hope one plus will succeed but they need to do something about their marketing and customer support.

Nexus 6P. The phone the OnePlus 2 should have been. Real useful USB-C port (with fast data transport and really fast charging; (unlike the useless gimmick it is on the 2)), NFC, 128Gb memory, good support, guaranteed updates for the OS (before anyone steps in defending OnePlus: How is the long ago promised upgrade for Oxygen OS for the One coming along? Does not bode well for the 2 once they release the 3.)
