The dual-SIM issue only affects Chinese version phones. EU version has two IMEIs and thus it will provide dual-SIM capability worldwide.

Thanks for the details, this will avoid lot of confusion. This is the greatness of this forum, we get first hand information up-front (But, Unfortunately few guys got the Chinese version and cursing them now).

More reason for me to get the EU/Asia version then, I have a UK and HK SIM and that variant covers all the bands I need.

At times I fail to understand my Nokia works fine on 4G LTE in the US, Europe and Asia..why One Plus has to make so many variants..

I am from India, and I am happy to feel that OP gives Indian region more than due attention and OP is very much liked by whoever has used it in this country. Even Carl Pei has become very popular here. His sincerity comes across as refreshing change and original. He talks like a visionary of smartphone world. I feel given a chance he can easily revive duds like Nokia and HTC. I am using OPO and I can assure all would be OP2 owners who have not used OPO, that you will bless the day you bought it. It is an investment not like MI 4, where buyers complain all the time about Mi4 in India. The tension in getting an invite and wait is worth it.
