OnePlus 2 Rumors - We are mad.

After our recent announcement about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 being the CPU of the OnePlus 2, we have seen a surge of speculations and rumors surface about the price of the 2 and overheating concerns. We would like to remind you that these are just that -- rumors.

The 810 is much more powerful than its younger counterpart, the 801, and is a much more expensive component. We’re paying more for the 810 than we ever have for the 801. In fact, the cost is almost 60% higher, and we’re not getting any discount. We can tell you now that the price of the 2 will certainly be higher than $322. But, the 810 is a top-of-the-line processor, and it’s what the OnePlus 2 deserves. Our Snapdragon 810 chipset runs the same eight cores for stability, but at 1.8 GHz for cooler temperatures. We’ve taken precautions to make sure none of our users have to settle.

Before jumping to conclusions about the quality of the 2, we ask all of our fans and critics to just wait and see. We’re confident in our products, and we were careful to only choose components that are fit for the successor of the Flagship Killer.

(PS - Yep, you're looking at a heavily Photoshopped OnePlus 2 in this photo.)

Is the screen big or the hand's small ?

Anyways - OnePlus 2 launch is twice exciting.
    I'm expecting/my future sight
    1) Same screen size or maybe 6' with AMOLED display or Quantum dot display. 1080p will do the job, but as the motto says, 2K won't be bad either considering a 810 in the house

    2) Front speakers or True stereo speakers,

    3) On screen navigation and thinner frame,

    4) 3200 mAh battery,

    5) 16 + 8 MP cam setup ,

    6) finger scanner might raise the price so maybe no,

    7) Quick charge & wireless charge,

    8) Improved and feature rich O2 OS with new design elements

    9) USB type C

Hmm so its a rectangular phone - good - seems there's a black metal frame and glass... It might be hotter than the one

So finally the sequel may end up being 40% more costlier

Even if it´s gonna be over 322 i´ll still buy it, the oneplus two will still be alot of a hell cheaper than normal flagships and still offer alot of great stuff.

"Wait and see" is EXACTLY what I'll be doing this time around. After all the hoopla from the original (and all the problems), I'll let the other folks around here participate in the hype machine while I sit back, with my perfectly good, (touchscreen issues aside) OPO and wait for the reviews before deciding on; keeping the One, picking up the 2 or jumping ship back to the always trusty Nexus.
    WAIT AND SEE!!

Stability Or underclocking? So in direct word, the chipset is throttled at 1.8ghz than the original 2.0ghz and crippled the full energy so that heating is tackled. Well done guys. You have got into a trouble by yourself. Snapdragon 808 would be appreciated.

You can just put the 808 like the g4. Performes just as well and its probably cheaper.
