Because the 810 will run at a low clockspeed to prevent overheating which means it won't be very powerful. Look up some 810 vs 808 or 805 stuff on Google, you'll see.

I will simply wait and see and decide if to buy when it is ready
Have been quite satisfied with the ONE and if the TWO would be as good compared to it's competitors as the ONE has been last year I am sure to buy it
In the meantime I will wait until it is ready and available. ..
I think Oneplus will surprise us again

I actually don't see the point of underclocking by 700mhz (as its theoretical maximum speed is 2.5GHz). You guys should've chosen the 808. It's cheaper and it works out of the box. If you don't want to settle then the 820 was a better choice. There will always be devices that will throttle with this SOC and you guys will have to provide those users a fix every time (just like the touchscreen isues).

But if 808 or 805 works at full speed, don't you think it will be overheated.?

No it doesn't because they're quad cores and the 810 is an 8 core. It's too much for such a little space.

Also, our "rumors" kept claiming that in order to prevent the overheating, you would have to undervolted the chip. Based on your post, it does not sound like a rumor.

I am ready for the drama.

810 > 808 cos during the winter days your fingers will have a warm resting place.

They've all been tested pretty well at this point. There is some kind of flaw in the 810 (regardless of rumors, this that. It did exist, may or may not, blah) that causes extreme heat at it's base frequencies. After a few minutes running full on, it throttles so heavily that it underperforms everything severely. The 808 is slower, but it runs at that speed stable without flaw. It's only slower for the first few minutes, and then when the 810 throttles, the 808 shines.

Myself, as long as the new OP2 has the following met, I'll consider it if no performance or heating issues come.
    1. HDMI out. No question. My next phone (in the next few months) will have this.
    2. No bigger than current dimensions. 5.2" or so would be perfect, 5.5" is alright as long as the bezels stay the same.
    3. Battery life; my OPO after some tweaking is "good enough", but it really does need to be a bit better.

I'm sure there will be other problems come up just like the one , a good cpu doesn't fix the rest of the white compartments ;-)

I'd prefer the first version of 810. I badly want a mobile stove, to take with me where ever I go. Which is not far! I'mad mad that you're mad about this. :(
