No they told me no matter by using online / walkin will having 2 years contract . I show the screen with online purchase they told me on this 100% having contract and if online store they can't confirm. I already sent de screenshot to Maxis care email and if valid I req the email care team send few complaint report on this issue on Maxis center staff + wrong information provide inside Maxis main branch & customers service agent

And yes the same issue face by you all are now on me also, but by today having oneplus show at Maxis center klcc if you want to get a touch on it go try it , it feel really good.

@Adrian Lee I really confused atless mention to Maxis they unable to update all Maxis staff is OK, we all know Maxis having too many staff but at less at klcc main branch do having latest information.

Just been to Maxis at KL Sentral (I work nearby so thought would try as getting wrong message from Maxis KLCC)

She confirm if buy OnePlusTwo with no Zerolution, you need MaxisOne plan which is contracted for 12/24 months. She confirm that if terminate at any time, you have to pay remainder of contract (so if cancel after 1 month, need to pay 11 months x RM98)

I ask her to check with manager, she come back and confirm again.

@Adrian Lee, we need an answer on this. I have tried 3 different stores now and been to Maxis centres a total of 5 times to be told different answer every time.

My invite is running out... and so is my patience....

Hi, do you qualify for the Zerolution plan? That's the cheaper way to go. The MaxisOne Plan is the one where there's cancellation penalties.

It is really sad that why is it so hard to purchase. We can see it is in the store. Besides that, the phone doesn't belongs to maxis, it is not 'maxis phone', why we need to tie with their plan? It is not fair and they suppose be the middle man between oneplus and consumer right?

Hi @Adrian Lee , the thing is lots of Malaysian are prepaid users and non Maxis users. We are not eligible for this criteria. If Maxis do have plan to open up non-contract purchase on 23rd October, why not they start it now?

@Adrian Lee no as discussed in previous posts I am prepaid non Maxis customer so not eligible for Zerolution.

So you are saying those of us who are prepaid have no optoion but to take a RM98 plan with Maxis for 12months?

Please cut to the chase here and just say yes or no. I and many other prepaid users have been patient so far... We just want an answer.

Even qualify for Zerolution plan, we still impose exit penalty, informed by Maxis Centre at Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

Same, they also explain the same thing to me, but I said if it's tied to 12/24 months contract, the devices should be either RM1,199 or RM999, why is it RM1687++. They can't answer... then a person looks like manager spoken and said, RRP only sell 23rd Oct onward... confused.

@Adrian Lee your Malaysia sales 100% drop due to maxis problem

on same page same purchase, different phone oneplus is come without contract but they said 100% come with 2 year contract . I provide the proof that the order was not under contract but they still claim is was under contract , i dont dare to place order on this .

@Adrian Lee What @threesixty mentioned is making sense, please let us know a YES or NO in term of

    1. Can we buy OnePlusTwo without Maxis' plan currently?

It's a Simple question to answer, if NO then we don't need to waste time walk in Maxis Centre or go Maxis Store and buy it. Let's Maxis keep all the stock in the warehouse happily, we will wait until they willing to open up for sales without contract.
