I am using the OnePlus 2 on t mobile with lte. I downloaded the speed test app and have been getting very mixed results and very low results. The highest I have ever gotten has been 10mbps abd the lowest has been 0.83mbps. How can this be? Can this be fixed somehow or is tmobile capping my data speed? By the way all the tests I have done have been with full bars.

I am also interested in this result as the main reason I upgraded was so I would get LTE on TMO's Band 2.

Haha! I'm on T-mobile, Glad I stuck with the one and didn't fall into the hype and use the invite I got. How about you'll figure out all the bugs and do the quality control for Oneplus.

Hmm, don't know what to tell you. I just ran a test at my house (Metrowest Massachusetts) on T-Mobile with the attached results, which is pretty much what I was seeing with my One, as well. Screenshot_2015-09-16-10-53-51.png

It really doesn't help that I live in a dead area. Give me a few minutes, I will drive to a place that I usually have very good service.

I'm Tmo also, this will determine if I will buy the 2 or not. Thanks @Baymax for looking into it!

Also, has anyone tested the dual sim? I want to use this for both my work and personal so I don't have to carry two phones. Thx

See if you get lte in area that you test, there are complain that T-Mobile is not recognize OP2 IMEI, and you will have to call them up to figure out.

LTE maximum speed is not necessarily the speed you will get on your phone. Its like having a 1Gps ethernet cable, but the internet is tied to a 10Mbps line. Anyways, I just tested LTE speed, I am on T-Mobile, on OPT and I am getting 21.99Mbps down, 1.98Mbps up.

Also, I am using dual sim with my work and home, and it is working great. I checked last night by having my wife call my home sim, then immediately hanging up and calling my work sim and both came through without a hitch. Only think I haven't checked yet that I had a problem with on my OPO is MMS.

HOWEVER - I did just check my WiFi as well, and it seems I am getting capped to 10mbps on 5GHz frequency (AC) while I am getting full speed on 2.4GHz...

Make sure you're on the right APN, when I first put my t-mobile sim in the OP2 for some reason it connected on Metro PCS instead of t-mobile and I was getting shitty signal. Go to Settings>More>Cellular networks>Access Point Names and make sure you're on "T-Mobile US LTE IPv6"

Keep in mind also that if your convecting to band 12 it is slower speeds but better building and land coverage compared to bands 2&4
