So you expected OnePlus 2 to get destroyed by "2015 flagships" one of them with inferior spec and bloated android when it is praised as a "2016 flagship killer" by both the Oneplus and the blind fanboys/girls in this forum ?

Really i thought 4gb & 810 will do better like the flagships. Little bit disappointed to see that comparison video.

Good thing you brought up pricing of the G4
Here in Canada it goes for 650 before taxes but the OP2 totals at 610 ....... so we are talking maybe 100 dollar difference between the two.
I am just stunned how well it performed compared to the OP2 with its inferior specs and much heavier and skinned android.

Well, being that I was 26,000 on the waitlist and now bumped down to 106,000, it appears that the note 5 will be released much sooner than anticipated (usually Christmas time). I can conclude that the slow invite system of the One Plus has failed me and on top of that, it seems that the note 5 is much faster.

Had I been actually able to order on the 11th of August, maybe I would have been okay with it, but the fact remains that the one plus two seems significantly slower than the note 5 doing simple daily functions. I wouldn't pay half the price to get 75% of the flagship performance if I can just get the flagship. Maybe in a year, I'll have my eyes on the One Plus Three, until then, Note 5 here I come :)

Its okay to be disappointed seeing this video ... I was too :(
I honestly can't figure out why the G4 was faster than OP2 ... Hardware and Software both are technically superior on the OP2 ... there must be something really wrong with the Oxygen OS lol

honestly if you get the Note 5 you won't be disappointed ... it is absolutely a beast in performance and also unique in its features too (S - Pen)

I don't understand why everyone who thinks OP2 is better in some ways has to be a fanboy.
That's stupid. I can also argue that you are a LG and Samsung fanboy then.
Don't use that argument to discuss with people.
Besides I didnt say OP2 is better, I just said that the test doesnt make sense.

I use OnePlus One as my daily driver and I never owned LG and samsung phones and most likely I never will (I am a huge fan of near stock android like the ones offered by OnePlus, Motorola etc)
You like many of the posts here were just coming up with excuses as to why either this test is not realistic (it actually is a realistic test much better than "benchmarks") or simply that OP2 is much better priced etc etc...
If you honestly weren't a fanboy you would have said something along the lines of the others who noticed that OP2 lost pretty badly to G4 despite its superior hardware and software (near stock > bloated android)

But OnePlus 2 isn't marketed and praised only as a "cheaper device" ... Its a "2016 flagship killer"
Honestly why do you bring the pricing to the equation when OP2 failed to do what everyone here expect it to do which is destroying these other 2 flagships from this year in performance ... do you get why I keep smelling blind fanboyism from posts like yours ?

One of the quite a few successes of the OPT is that it is compared with other high end phones costing over twice as the OP2. It shows it is worth it. Can't wait!

Actually for me in Canada OPT will cost me to get home around 600 CAD including the taxes and shipping ..etc. I can get the LG G4 for 600 CAD (even if it is locked to a carrier it cost few dollars to unlock it). i can even get Note4 and probably Galaxy s6 (for 50-100 more or wait a month or so and will be down, since you have to wait for OPT invite anyway)

over twice? you can buy a brand new unlocked LG G4 H815 for about $450 now. for the life of me i can't figure out why anyone would go with the OPT over the G4 at this point. the only reason is development and i am sure that even that will change soon (the LG G3 has great development so i think that the G4 will as well.).

so for less than an extra $100 you get:

    faster phone
    quick charge
    removable battery
    better screen
    better support
wireless charging (easy enough to add to the G4)
    smaller device
    better camera

seems like a no brainer to me....

It is definitely better priced phone but its performance is disappointing especially considering that it is supposedly a "2016 flagship killer" but its performance is well not even at a 2015 flagship level

I am from Canada as well and like what you said G4 and OP2 comes out being about the same... the only main difference being G4 offering superior camera, Expandable storage and replaceble battery
