If you use your op3 just for these things then your sot should be 14+hrs bud !!! Using this less and still having only 8hrs of sot is also a BIG NO !!! lol [e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e]

My point is: if you don't need this specs, buy a phone with huge battery like honor 8 and don't waste your money. Using a op3t in that way is nonsense. I don't play games, I use my phone in a standard way (messaging, navigate, call, watch videos sometimes) and I get 4h SOT (20% wi-fi and 80% LTE) and is good for me, I can reach the end of the day with no problem, then I charge it.

If my objective was: have a phone with no sync, no social, no video, to do just calls and few massages then I would buy another phone and achieve 10h SOT anyway spending less money.

Chrome uses a lot. I would make sure every time you turn the screen off that you clear all processes running in the background. Also, make sure to utilize doze or aggressive doze.

Thank you for answering, i'm using aggresve doze (enabled in developer settings and in battery menu)

I just reached 15% and i barely got to 4 hours of SoT (i unplugged 1 day and 18 hs ago, but still, it's too low), i'm gonna try a wakelock detector, something is wrong here

    Thanks again buddy

Writing this long, how much battery % you lose [e]1f61c[/e]
I totally agree with you. Yet people will keep on complaining

Good luck. Check out Gsam with adb permissions, it will tell you how many times each app has tried to wake your phone up from doze. You can also try Accubattery. It has a built in feature that shows you how long the screen was off, and what % of that time it was in deep sleep for.

I'm one of the only people I know who doesn't have facebook, Instagram or snapchat. Not really a fan of them. If I were 10 years younger and single, I would probably be on all 3.

I'm still facing the problem tho. Earlier my op3 could get from 8 up to 12 hours on a single charge, now it barely gets 7 on a minimal use. I use dark theme where possible, a dark wallpaper, usually on home wifi, I'm not playing games, I don't use Facebook or Snapchat at all, my brightness is usually at 5-10% and my location isn't being tracked constantly. But one day my battery started draining and I don't know how to fix it.

I notice how the battery graph became steeper than it was in the beginning. The top drainers list doesn't really help either:
    Android system - 6%
    Android OS - 3%
    Screen - 3%
    Google Service - 3%
    Twitter - 2%
    Chrome - 2%
    Network connection - 2%
    Google - 2%
    WhatsApp - 2%
    Standby - 1%
    Fleksy (my keyboard) - 1%
    Instagram - 1%

Any idea where the problem might be (as well as other 72% of battery usage)?

not agreed at all, regarding the right way to use the device,
the gizmo round about 30000/00 if performs like that, then it shouldn't be referred to groups to purchase,,
it's really a poor show on the part of 3t....

Screen should always be highest, if Android OS is higher, it means you are using your phone very less or some problem with system. I suggest switch to default theme, as dark theme is known to drain battery due to some unknown bugs in some cases.

Use dark theme on any applications that you can. And bring down the screen brightness.

it's simple. uninstall Paytm, Truecaller, avg antivirus software, stop auto backup, and choose manual restore, enable doze mode in advanced settings, BINGO!!!! BATTERY PROBLEM SOLVED.... ENJOY NOUGAT...
