I am certain they take most of the hit still. But I do feel for those who want soft gold version

This is insane. Every multinational company like yourselves experience foreign exchange ups and downs all the time. Companies hegde themselves against these occurrences with call/put options or participating in money markets limit foreign exchange exposure. No need to add extra costs to the consumers.

Also, Sterling is recovering quite well so this is a minor blip. I doubt One plus will reduce their price once the exchange rate reaches it's pre-brexit levels?!

It hit a new low of 1.305XX against USD today, I wouldn't say it's recovering well.

Unfortunately companies were not expecting Brexit. Even Nvidia said that prices for the new graphic cards in the UK will probably be higher as UK supplier get their stock from abroad.

I was waiting for the soft gold version but now I am thinking of ordering the graphite one before Monday. uffffffff

Will the price raise in other EU countries? I'm from Poland and I don't know I should hurry with buying it or not.

Except the pound dropped pretty fast compared to usual rates. And while it did recover a bit to a steady 1.330-1.325 a couple of days after the referendum, for some reason today it collapsed under 1.31.

And before the referendum it was around 1.45, if anything OP did a good job attempting to keep the OP3 the same price for as long as possible.

Damn you Brexit! Thanks for all the notice you have given the community @David S.

And as people have mentioned the margins on accessories are much higher than on the device. It was explained by Carl in the early days this is how OnePlus will make most of their money - the phones are cheap because the margins are low. Accessories have higher margin so can accept the extra costs.

This is not about Brexit, this is about currency exchange rates. Please read the message again. And no, this thread is only relevant to UK people, hence why it's under the "UK" region.

OP6 or 7 will be out by then! There are more shocks to come, like when Article 50 is triggered, and the actual date we leave two years after that.
Add to that another possible Scottish Referendum, and the pound will sink further, especially if we leave UK.
