The SD820/21 are still plenty plenty powerful enough tbh, I could have quite easily gone into next year with my V20 and Le Max 2.

Agreed. They are doing their job, fulfilling my daily needs, what else? And, as long as I don't really need/want/beg those fancy Nougat and Oreo on these devices, there are definitely good for me. Being curious doesn't mean being stupid, isn't it? :D

Some would say that but I lost 25% on my max sot on the move to Nougat, so where was the benefit of making the move?
I always want the latest on my device because i like new stuff, I like to mess but it doesn't mean I'm going to cry to get it.

I am going to upgrade my oneplus 3 when i am able to find worthy upgrade. Currently lots of good smartphone are present in the market but oneplus 3 still give decent competition to them.

    Dude, Design?
The 3/T like the 5/T was the generic Chinese build of the year and was totally blown away by the S7E.

    Dude spec?
The S7E was a way more advanced device than the OP3 and it is still more advanced than the 5/5T.
    OP are always behind,way behind.

    Price?
Now your saying something that is actually makes sense.
But at the point when the 3 was chopped the S7E could have been had for £70 more, there is an individual on the forum who got one for £50 more.
So even that one is questionable.

The move from the 3 to the 5T is an improvement on the basics nothing else, the device is still firmly rooted in the Midrange.

This is optimism at its best. Its well short of what's out there now in almost every facet bar charging time.

The Google camera port is pretty cool. I'll hold on to my 3t and will wait till the 6t. Unless they sell the 5t red version in the U.S market.

You are basically right. But, if you don't release anything or rarely, you're forgotten...Sad world, I agree...

Dude, I did the same as you. Then after a week with the Pixel 2 XL i swapped it for the OnePlus 5T. You're going to miss silly little things that only OnePlus do.

Oneplus priced themselves out of my budget with the 5T. Lovely phone getting rave reviews. But I WILL NEVER spend over $500 for a phone and the 5T 128GB is too high. I'm a power downloader and I need the 128GB option. So for now, I'm sticking with my 3T for probably another year. Oreo has caused a few issues to crop up that weren't there before, but it's still silky smooth and a pleasure to use everyday.

Still continuing with oneplus 3, which I bought on the very first day. Got a camera issue few days back, but it has been replaced by service center free of cost though the warranty period was over. [e]1f60a[/e]

I would probably not upgrade, as the camera, software, performance, and battery life are not much changed. Also, you will still be running Oreo by the release of OP6, and the new Android version will release after that. Plus, you still have Dash Charge.

I'm waiting for the S9 and oneplus 6. TBH android phones should be upgraded around 2 and above years. For example the Oneplus 3 had 3 major OTA updates, M,N and now O. Oneplus won't update it anymore only with security updates. Hopefully the 6 will have a headphone jack, QHD display and IP rating. Having a QHD display could also mean that it can be downgraded to FHD. If the 6 isn't much of an upgrade then I would wait for the 6T or get the S9. It also depends on the price as well
